Party, eh?!

So for Wren's first birthday we decided to keep it super simple with family, and a few close friends.  My mom and sister were able to come from Utah and I could not have been happier. My sister did an excellent job with most of the decorations! I pretty much just stole ideas from other blogs since I have zero creative juices in my body.

We bought a few balloons and I printed off all black and white pictures from her first year.  It was pretty wonderful to look through all of them and see how much she has grown. She is turning into such a silly little girl. Often times she will climb in her blankets and say, "night,nigh" with a big grin on her face, then pop up! She is so tricky!

Few things about Wren
- She has added ball and dog to her words.
- loves to be super silly especially with playing peek-a-boo behind the curtains
- Knows about 2 spanish phrases
- Enjoys Yogurt and strawberries.
- Walks and sometimes even runs! (running usually does not end well)
- has 6 little teeth and one more on the way
- Loves to go to music makers and play with her friends
-  Sits in the grocery cart backwards just so she can get attention. She stares at everyone till she finally gets a reaction!
- Brings us books to read to her. This is so darn cute. Of course , right when you start reading she gets another book.
-Loves to sit on the couch with mommy and daddy. I think she secretly thinks she is a big girl!

We did strawberry shortcake instead of cake. Wren was not very interested, but it was fun anyway 

My family has a tradition from when we were really young to get our picture with all our presents! I am excited to carry this tradition on!
