Lately

The weather here in Flagstaff has been wonderful for the past two months so we have been doing nothing but hiking and hiking some more.  I will eventually get around to writing a few posts about the trails we did, but for now I will just let you enjoy some of the pictures.  Wren will be one in just two short weeks, but I never did her 11 month post. Thankfully I have been writing everything down in my journal! So Wren at 11 months...
- Loves to climb on the dishwasher
- Knows where her belly button, nose, and ears are.
- Says "mama" "dada" and "nighnigh"
- Stands up on her own and cruises the furniture ... (walks now)!
- Climbs in and out of the bathtub
- Has to sleep with her "minky"
- interacts and "talks" with other babies
- Loves to crawl with things in her hands so it looks like she is roller bladding!
- Three teeth on bottom, and three on top
- loves touch and feel books
- blows kisses!

We are really excited to take her in for her year appointment to make sure she is growing and healthy. She still is really struggling with eating any solids, and Layne and I are both at our wits end about all of it! It is such a fight every feeding.
She has been super cuddly with her "bunny" lately!

I think yellow is her color!

These two love helping me make muffins

Hope no one is offended by this! Breastfeeding has been such an amazing/crazy experience. It is almost over, so I asked Layne if he would snap a few pictures for me. I really want to remember these moments. Sounds weird, but nursing Wren helps me to feel the spirit in my life!  It has been those moments when I have looked down at her big eyes staring up at me and realized why God sent her to our family, and why being her mom is so important.
