About us:

Layne and I met in sleepy Cedar City and we are sleeping to this day. zzzzzzzzzzzZZZZ *snort* oops. Sorry that's me trying to stay awake. 10 months of 3 hour naps three times a night will do that to ya. 

We live a chewy granola life full of hiking, running, giving our kid raw milk and vaccines (AND SHE's STILL ALIVE!) and making our own unhealthy brand of the sweetened, condensed milk-filled granola. 

This blog tells the American tale of McKenzie trying not to be bald by 30, Layne trying to not get killed biking to work, and both of them attempting to raise a very, very cute little girl. Trust me, she's adorable. The results are often amusing.

You'll find hiking reports, "make-your-own" recipes, and stories of how our faith in Jesus Christ has made our life a happy, fulfilled one.
