9 months

Wren is now 9 months old. We took her to the doctor and everything is looking pretty great.  She was just above what her Iron levels need to be so we are working on eating more green veggies.  Her weight is 15 lbs 6 0z, which the doctor said is normal for a nursing baby, but if she dips much lower than we need to worry! It is hard to get enough calories in her because she is such a busy body all day. She never stops moving! At nine months:
* Has three teeth!
* Loves cheerios and avacado. We pretty much just let her eat everything we eat right now. She even got a little pizza last night :)
* Is in love with her daddy. She is always so happy when he comes home. Layne loves this!
* Eats 2 meals a day plus 2 or 3 snacks.
* Loves to clap her hands and bounce up and down.
* Is standing all over everything.
* Still will not take a sippy cup or bottle. I usually just have to give her water in a cup during and between meals
* Still nurses 6 times a day..... getting a little old....
*  Loves to take baths, and play with her "lego car"
* Loves to be outside
* Not really have much stranger danger anymore
* Wears size 2 diapers
* Sleeps through most nights.

We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. My mom and sister were able to drive down, and I was so grateful. I needed the family time so bad.  Even though Flag is not too far from Utah is still seems like forever.  Layne made the Turkey, and it was delicious.  He did all these fancy things to eat, and the meat was perfect. After dinner my sister and I went to Old Navy to check out the deals.  They were pretty good but we ended up standing in the checkout line for over 30 minutes...yuck! Saturday we went down to Sedona and ate at the javelina cantina. We love that place, and once again it did not disappoint.  We are hoping to get down their again soon to do some winter hiking.

We have a busy december so I am a little bit stressed, but it should all work out.  Layne has a training all next week in Santa Fe so I am going to babysitt on Monday and Tuesday then drive out to Santa Fe by myself (wish me luck) to meet him for a few days. We leave for Utah on the 21st to stay for almost 2 weeks! Family time is the best time.

I have been having a little trouble getting into the Holiday Spirit this year which is odd for me. I feel more stressed this year over the most pointless things.  I think I am just overly tired this year with Wren haha  I am almost done with my shopping so at least I have that out of the way! I justt have to keep thinking about all the people I get to see over the holidays too.
