Wren- 7 Months

Sunday drive to see where daddy is going to be racing next weekend

Aunt Janelle sent Wren this hat. Cousin Camden has a similar one.

She loves to pull herself up into standing position.
Wren will be seven months old tomorrow! I still can't believe it. She is growing and learning so quickly.
* Wren is now eating solids twice day, and nursing about five times.  Some of her favorite foods are avocado, chicken, and lots of baby food! She loves butternut squash! She still refuses to take a bottle no matter what is in it, and gets water through a sippy cup.
*Sleep... Wish she
* would do more of this... She is a pretty good sleeper at night. Usually waking up only once to eat. This last week her sleeping habits have been a little rough due to a pearly white tooth that popped out! She still has not bit me.... crossing my fingers on that one.
*Wren crawled the day before she turned six months and has not slowed down since.  She goes all over the whole house inspecting every little corner.  Her crawling has helped me clean my floors more often :)
*We taught her how to clap last week and it melts my heart.  She has finally figured out what "clap" means.  It is amazing how they can connect words to actions so quickly.
*She hates her baby einstein jumper.  We only bought it a few weeks ago off craigslist hoping it would help out while I babysitt my two little boys, but she will only stay in for maybe five minutes before she starts to cry.... sad!
*Wren is still not very vocal, but we are working on singing more songs and reading more books throughout the day.
*She loves her dad. She gets so happy when he comes home from work, and picks him out of a crowd so easily.
* She has a very sweet personality, and is pretty quiet like her mom. She is very observant, and is content just playing with her toys for hours! I think she will turn out to be pretty shy when she is older.
*She loves to cuddle when she is tired.

Things in Arizona are going great.  The weather is perfect  (high 60's, mid 70's). I am craving fall, and am so excited for General Conference this weekend.  We started a tradition when we got married to always make Cafe Rio Pork for the Saturday sessions but this year we may just go to cafe rio....
Layne is still loving his job, but is sending out applications all over the country with the Department of Defense just to see what happens.
We have a Utah trip planned in three short weeks, and I am dying. I will finally be able to meet my nephew Camden, and see the rest of my family plus Layne's!
