no....we are not preggo. but you may just think I am the biggest baby after reading this blog.
About 5 years ago I went on a picnic with a friend. She happened to leave a blanket in my car. This blanket and I instantly connected and we have not parted since.(my friend does know I stole the blanket from her). And when I say not parted I really mean it. She has been on numerous road trips, car rides to the grocery store, and sadly even on a few airplanes with me. I LOVE LOVE this blanket. Over the years though many rips have happened. I have come really close to throwing it away a few times, but can never bring myself to do it. About 1 year ago my husband even surprised me with getting it all sowed up!! how sweet!!!
well, today Layne and I cut all the batting that was falling out. I did not even come close to throwing the blanket away and I cried like a baby. Here are the pictures to prove it. Serious. I need to be more like a grown up. Oh well, until I decide to grow up I will continue to sleep with this blanket every night! This may be a lame story, but I had to share.
Layne tells me to get rid of DEE DEE all the time, but I have found that some things in life just have to stay with you. DEE DEE has gotten me some pretty rough times. dumb, I know. It is my comfort, kinda like twisting my hair. It makes me happy! hopefully my next blog will not be so sad!
Oh my....Kenzie!! I wonder where our original Dee Dee's went!! So you are keeping it, just without the batting?! Poor Layne...hahah have a baby already! PS Ray loves you and we love your blog!!
