How far along are you? 36 weeks, almost full term!
Total Weight Gain: 15 pounds (I'm working on trying to gain more)
Maternity Clothes? Totally sporting the maternity pants with the huge waist band. I have thought been wearing lot of leggings.
Stretch Marks: None yet
Best Moment of the Week: Finding out our little baby is growing just fine. Read story below
Miss Anything? I really just want to lay of my stomach! I miss a full nights sleep without having to go to the bathroom literally every hour now
Movements: Moving like crazy, especially right before we go to bed
Food Cravings: I could eat a million tootsie pops a day
Anything making you queasy/ sick? Just the thought of food makes me sick. I sailed through my first trimester with no sickness, but saved it till the end.
Labor Signs: Had a few small contractions on Monday, but nothing since. I have a feeling she is going to stay in the full 40 weeks!
Last week I went to the doctor on Wednesday. I told Dr. Lindstrom that I felt like my stomach was not growing at all. Sure enough when he measured me I was the same as the 2 weeks previous. He ordered an ultrasound but they could not get me in for a week. Layne and I came home frustrated because we were worried that a week was way too long. I called the next morning (basically in tears) and told them that I really needed to be seen sooner. The nurse called me back a few hours later saying that Dr. L wanted me in that afternoon! Prayer is real. the ultrasound went really well, and the tech said she was measuring in the 33% for being 35 weeks. Dr. L said not to worry about anything because everything looked great! I have another appointment tomorrow, and I feel like my stomach is growing more now!
Last weekend Layne and Chris went down to Sedona to do some mountain biking for Layne's birthday, so I spent time with Abby and baby Charlie. What great friends we have made here!
I'm now done with work and it feels really strange to just be at home. I have been trying to keep busy with different projects, and getting everything prepared for baby girl.
Other news: Layne and I are finally trying to take the next step in life and buy a house. Nothing too serious yet, just looking around and meeting with some financial people to see what we can afford.
Still been keeping up with our hiking even though I can't go very far. Here are a few pictures from lately .
