This is how we spend our winnings

So this last week was somewhat of a treat for us! last weekend Layne did an indoor triathlon and took 2nd. Because he took 2nd he won a free meal to Costa Vida, and a free pizza!
My winnings happened at an Easter egg hunt at work. This whole last week our office manager has been hiding Easter eggs full of candy all over our office. You should see all of the staff running around, getting so excited. So hilarious! Well... there is this one egg called the "money egg." if you find this egg you win 5 bucks, so naturally I wanted it really bad. I had no luck until today! It was so hard to find, and I was screaming like a little girl..."I found the money egg, I found the money egg."


So we celebrated with a date night to Costa! This is pretty exciting for us since eating out hardly ever happens. Thank heavens for triathlons and money eggs.

This last week was also my dads retirement party after 33 years with the fish and game. It was good to see the family. My brother, John is so fun to be around. and even got to stop in at the Brown's for some "crap on a shingle" so yummy! Thanks pat and Michelle


also took a camping trip to Red Mountain Wilderness Area. It was the most beautiful place that I have ever been so far. Sadly, we did not remember our camera. and pretty much cried the whole last mile hiking through sand. The view was worth all the pain. Could not find a good picture of it. This will have to do. and no this is not the weak "red mountain hike" that everyone from st.george brags about. This is much much better!





Also, Layne and I got released from our calling in the Primary. We are super sad, and love those kids so much. Some of them even brought us sweet roles after church to tell us thanks! I love 5 year old! My new calling is Primary Secretary, and Layne will hopefully get one soon. We are also going on the trek this summer as a ma and pa! More details to come on that!

Last, but not least....drum role please...

I am finally leaving the country! Me, my mom, and Hayley are going to Ireland in July! I am sad to be leaving Layne behind, but traveling for two is expensive! I told him I would take lots of pictures.
